Start at the appliance
Note whether the unit starts, completes its usual function and shows a message on its own controls. Use the full model identifier to locate the matching owner information. Avoid interpreting a code solely from a search result about another Thermador product.
If only an app connection changed while the appliance operates normally, manufacturer connectivity guidance may be the relevant starting point. If heating, cooling or drainage has also changed, include that behavior in the repair discussion.
Preserve information without repeated resets
A screenshot or written message can help if it disappears. Keep the timing and any recent power or network interruption as history, without assuming either event caused an appliance fault.
Do not dismantle controls, open covers or repeatedly restart equipment showing unsafe behavior. A useful request does not require internal testing by the resident.
Confirm a workable Turtle Bay appointment
Tell us your building's service hours and whether an elevator or entry reservation is needed. Availability, the appliance and access must be reviewed together. If a manager arranges the visit, identify who can describe the issue and approve the work.
A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS
Before your service visit
Can you fix an app connection as part of an appliance visit?
Explain the request before booking. Connectivity support and diagnosis of a physical appliance fault are different scopes, and manufacturer guidance may be appropriate for app-only issues.
Is the shortened model from my app enough?
Provide the full identifier from a safely accessible label or existing owner paperwork if possible. If it is incomplete, say so rather than guessing the missing characters.
